Connect your AI assistant to Finago Office

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external systems. With the Finago Office MCP Server, you can use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and VS Code to work directly with your Finago Office data, using your own user account and permissions.

Early access: The Finago Office MCP Server is in beta. Functionality is limited, will change over time, and quality may vary.

 

Before you start

  • A Finago Office user account.
  • An AI tool that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth login (for example Claude, ChatGPT or VS Code).

Use the full URL, including /mcp at the end.

 

How to connect (all tools)

  1. Open the MCP or custom connector settings in your AI tool.
  2. Add a new connector with the URL https://mcp-multiclient.api.24sevenoffice.com/mcp.
  3. Log in with your Finago Office user to authorize access.
  4. Enable the connector in your chat or workspace.

 

Claude

Pro and Max:

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors and select Add custom connector.
  2. Enter the name Finago Office and the URL https://mcp-multiclient.api.24sevenoffice.com/mcp, then click Add.
  3. Click Connect and log in with your Finago Office user.
  4. In a conversation, open the + menu and enable Finago Office.

Team and Enterprise: An Owner first adds the connector under Organization settings → Connectors. Each user then connects and logs in with their own Finago Office user.

Claude Code: Run the command below, then run /mcp in Claude Code to complete the login in your browser.

ChatGPT

Requires Developer Mode (available on Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise).

  1. Enable Developer Mode under Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings (on Business/Enterprise, an admin may need to allow it under workspace permissions).
  2. Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors and select Create / Add new connector.
  3. Name: Finago Office. URL: https://mcp-multiclient.api.24sevenoffice.com/mcp. Authentication: OAuth.
  4. Check I trust this application and click Create.
  5. Log in with your Finago Office user, then enable Finago Office from the tools menu in the chat.

 

Other MCP clients is not supported yet.

Login and security

  • You log in through Finago Office using your username and password for Finago Office.
  • The AI tool receives a time-limited access token tied to your user. You only get access to the same data and functions as your Finago Office user. When the token expires, you will be asked to log in again.
  • Only complete a login you started yourself, from an AI tool you recognize. If you did not start it, close the page.

Data and privacy

  • Data the AI reads or changes in Finago Office passes through the AI provider you use.
  • Consumer plans may use conversations to improve models unless you opt out. Rules differ between providers.
  • Business plans generally do not use your data for training and include a data processing agreement (DPA). We recommend a business plan if you handle client data or have strict data requirements.

Your responsibility

AI can make mistakes, such as posting to the wrong account or registering incorrect data. Always review what the AI is about to do before confirming, especially actions that send, post or change data. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your accounting.
